IDEAL HOME NEEDED FOR ALICE THE CAT

FURRY feline Alice needs a home and staff at Stapeley Grange's RSPCA cattery are hoping a GUARDIAN reader will be able to help.

Alice, aged nine, was involved in a collision with a cat when she was younger which resulted in her losing a leg.

She also has quite bad eyesight meaning she can only see just past the end of her nose and suffers from a thyroid problem which can be controlled with medication.

"She's quite a character," said a cattery spokesman. "Now she needs a new home and lots of love."

Alice's ideal home would be somewhere quiet, with no children or other pets, and someone to give her lots of love and affection.

If you can help please contact Joyce or Emma at RSPCA Stapeley Grange on 610347 or call in at the cattery between 11am and 4pm Tuesday to Sunday.

The Cattery will be holding an open day on Sunday May 2 with a tombola, stalls and competitions to raise funds.

People can also see the cats at the Grange and there will be a car boot sale although places must be booked.
