MAN ON SEX CHARGE

LESLIE Pointon appeared before magistrates at Warrington on Monday charged with indecently assaulting a girl more than 13 years ago.

Pointon, 39, of Sycamore Road, Runcorn, was also charged with gross indecency with a girl.

He was remanded on bail until April 23.
