DANCERS INVITED TO SPICE UP THEIR SPRING

DANCE fans are being encouraged to spice up their spring with the new programme at Nantwich Civic Hall.

The hip swinging craze of salsa dancing is sweeping the country with classes starting up all over the place, including on the BBC's Eastenders.

The upbeat sessions at the Civic Hall start on Thursday April 15 and will continue every Thursday at 8.30pm.

The classes are taken by Adrian and Debi, who own the Pritchards Academy in Burleydam.

The couple, who have been married for 13 years and have two sons aged three and four, have been running the academy of the last two years.

Adrian is a professional tutor and ex-dance champion who has travelled all over the world and teaches and lectures internationally.

He has also adjudicated at many top class and world competitions with juniors, amateurs and professional dancers coming to the academy from across the country.

Salsa originates from Cuba and has an irresistible Latin rhythm which is not a difficult dance to learn.

Sessions cost £3, for more information telephone the Civic Hall on 628633 or contact Adrian and Debi at their academy on 01948 871633.
