Good food but decor is poor

I visited Warrington Market recently for the first time in a number of years , and could not help being impressed by the quality of the food section.

I normally shop at supermarkets and I had forgotten that food could be as excellent and inexpensive as it is at the market.

I thought it was a pity that the surroundings inside the market halls were not more attractive. The floor was untidy and the bare decor will never attract shoppers who want to be in nice surroundings.

Perhaps it could be smartened up with a few floral displays and a tiled floor.
