Television's stolen from lorry

SQUARE-eyed thieves escaped with thousands of pounds worth of televisions from a lorry.

The thieves stole the 25ins Nicam TVs from the truck, which had been parked in the Milner Street B & Q warehouse a week last Monday.

Police believe the raiders struck between 10.30pm and 8am on Tuesday and would have needed a large vehicle to escape with the haul.

Detectives want to hear from anybody who has been offered a new, boxed set in unusual circumstances.
