Police seek attacker

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a 13 year-old youth was punched to the floor, kicked and robbed by a boy of a similar age.

The incident took place on High Street, Winsford, on Saturday, January 23, between 2.15pm and 2.30pm.

The robber, who stole a gold St George sovereign ring valued at £50 from the youth, is described as a chubby, 14-year-old white male with a Liverpool accent and short dark hair.

He was with a group of other youths who did not take part in the offence and was riding a bicycle.
