REGARDING the new charges for Delamere Forest - I would just like to put forward my objection.

I live in Tarvin but walk my dog on a daily basis at Delamere Forest.

My main objection is that it will concentrate a lot of people in a small area - many people don't walk far so you won't be able to move for visitors within half a mile.

It should also be a resource that anyone and everyone can use.

I suggest that if the council must introduce charges, these should only apply at peak weekend times.

Or perhaps the council should just charge the cyclists who churn up the forest no end!
