JUNIORS RETURN WITH A VENGEANCE

VALE Juniors returned to league action with a vengeance on Sunday, thrashing Winsford 10-3 away from home.

The match was not all one-way traffic, however, with Vale having to come back from going two down after only 10 minutes.

Steve Roberts and Tom Burgess scored to see Vale all square at the break.

Vale cruised through the second half, Roberts taking his tally to four, backed by two for Tom Jackson, a second for Burgess and a late header from Adam Hall.
