VETERANS TOO STRONG FOR AUDLEM

CONGLETON veterans division one side proved too strong for Audlem in the Crewe badminton league, handing out a 5-1 home thrashing.

The team of Barbara Forster, Colin Wilkinson, Marion Doe and Dave Lonsdale were easy victors in all but one of their games, Marion and Dave going down 21-7 for Audlem's only win.

Reagals from Alsager went down 5-1 at home to Crosses B and 6-0 at Fisons A in veterans division two.
