Brain bug boy is well

A CHILD from a creche at the Verdin Centre in Winsford has made a full recovery from meningitis.

The 20-month-year-old boy was being treated in hospital for suspected meningococcal disease last week.

But staff at Mid-Cheshire College's Verdin Centre in High Street confirmed this week that he was well again.

Lynne Brown, a spokeswoman from the college, said: "He has recovered completely. He's out of hospital and all clear.

"It's good news and we're all very pleased."

For further information about the disease, the National Meningitis Helpline can be contacted on 0345 538118.
