A DISAPPOINTING display by Mond left Stork with an easy victory.
The visitors opened strongly and had an early penalty appeal turned down by the referee.
Stork took the lead in the fourth minute when a long kick by the keeper beat Williams and Crane and Forshaw responded to prod the ball home.
Brammer headed a second in the eighth minute following a corner kick.
Rooke prevented a third goal when he palmed away a shot for D Williams to complete the clearance.
A tremendous free-kick from Wood brought a superb diving save from the keeper as Mond looked to get back into the game.
Stork got a third right on half-time when Rooke mishandled a centre and Clyne side-footed home.
Three early substitutions by manager Peter Ellis brought more urgency to Mond but it took a good save by Rooke to deny Stork another goal.
Stork did increase their lead in the 65th minute when an attempted clearance by D Williams rebounded into his own net off the back of Dunroe.
Ward beat three defenders but his cross fell behind Smith as Mond attacked.
Rooke was in constant action as the lively Stork looked for more goals.
Some interaction between Smith and Ward resulted in Ward chipping the ball over the defence and running through to slot home a consolation goal for Mond in the 84th minute. Mom, Stuart Iddon.
Mond Rangers Bonanza was won by No115.
Next Saturday Mond Rangers entertain Merseyside Police in a Carlsberg West Cheshire league fixture, kick-off 2.15pm. Mond Rangers Reserves travel to play Shaftesbury in a rearranged League Cup fixture, kick-off 2.15pm.
Mond Rangers Ladies 4 Phoenix Ladies 1
MOND Rangers Ladies played host to keen rivals Phoenix Ladies and got off to a flying start when Kath Bell scored in the fifth minute.
Ten minutes later the visitors gifted Mond a second goal by turning the ball into their own net after good work on the right-wing by Louise Dixon.
Mond continued to create all the chances but their inability to put them away gave Phoenix hope and they reduced their arrears five minutes before the interval.
After the break it was still the home side who created chance after chance but had to rely on their opponents to help them out again as pressure from Bell forced an own goal.
This jolted Phoenix back to life and created a piece of drama 10 minutes from time.
Gill Parkinson, who had already produced heroics to keep her side ahead, reached in vain for a loose ball and made contact with a Phoenix forward who crashed to the ground. Amazingly, the referee's reprieve allowed the keeper to atone with a save from the spot kick.
To rub salt into the wound Mond increased their lead decisively when a goal-bound shot from Helen Cann was wickedly deflected in by a Phoenix defender two minutes from time.
Next Sunday Mond Rangers cannot expect such generosity when they tackle Stockport County Ladies in the Cheshire County FA Cup at Pavilions, kicking off at 2pm.
