CHIP PAN BLAZE BABY

A BABY boy suffered slight injuries following a fire at his home in Castlefields on Monday night.

The three-month-old was treated by paramedics for smoke inhalation after a chip pan caught fire in his Delacy Row home.

A pair of engines from Runcorn fire station spent almost an hour dealing with the fire, which started just before 1am.

The child was not seriously affected and there were no other injuries.
