TWO 'Fab' Ladies will be cooking a dish of culinary delights when a new Dinner Party Course starts a

For tutors Deborah Robb and Isabel Bishop will be emanating their well-known television counterparts, Two Fat Ladies when they present the five week course along similar lines.

Both Deborah, the college's community liaison manager as well as a catering lecturer, and Isabel are experienced home economists.

Deborah said: "The course will be great fun and is designed to show people that entertaining can be made easy and still achieve spectacular results.

"Isabel and I will be operating as a double act, encouraging people to have a go, stirring, chopping etc. and then of course eating the food we have produced. We will also be giving advice on which wines will complement the food and hope to be able to offer samples."

Both tutors have a wealth of experience, Deborah as a home economist, author and lecturer - while Isabel has carried out food demonstrations including the Ideal Homes Exhibition and has also contributed to several books on the subject.

For adventurous recipes and the power to "wow" your friends, book now. Costing only £32 the course runs for five weeks starting on Saturday January 23, from 9.30am to 12noon.

The Saturday College offers people a convenient time to study, for those of you with children, London Road has courses in Children's Art and Junior Computing. Jane Francis who teaches Water Painting at the College's Rudheath Community Education Centre, is offering Watercolour Painting at London Road.
