BOWLER EDDIE WILL BE BACK IN ACTION

TOP paceman Eddie Burnett returns to league action in April after being signed up by Alsager for a second year running.

The Guyanan fast bowler was the league's leading wicket taker last season, claiming 71 scalps.

Alsager are also looking to sign up several new batsmen from the North Staffordshire league for the forthcoming new season.

Indoor nets start at Alsager leisure centre at midday on Saturday January 16, with junior nets starting in March.
