BETSY AGNES POGSON née Houghton Sheila, Jan and families, would like to express their heartfelt thanks to family, friends, neighbours and care staff who attended mum’s beautiful Service of Thanksgiving on the 22nd May 2012. Our grateful thanks to all those who sent flowers, cards, messages of sympathy and donations in mum’s memory to St Mary’s Church, Great Sankey. The many tributes paid to mum and the kindness and support given to the whole family, have been a great comfort to us all. We would like to pay special thanks to Reverend Michael Buckley, for his gentle words of comfort and prayers both during the service and the many home visits made to mum. Thanks also to Reverend Phil Turner and Roy Allen, for their timely words of comfort and support. We are so grateful to Robert Houghton and colleagues of Houghton’s Funeral Directors, for their professionalism, for the sensitive way in which arrangements were made and for the dignified way in which they were carried out. To Amanda, of Miss Daisy's, sincere thanks, for her stunning floral arrangements, which mum would have loved and which uplifted us all. Finally, we would like to thank all those at St Mary's, whose loving help and support, in so many ways, was very much appreciated by all the family.
