PETER Barron, husband of Carol Barron, died of myocardial infarction on August 13, aged 61.
Mr Barron, from Old Hall, lived in the Warrington area all his life.
He was employed at Greenings for more than 30 years before becoming self-employed.
He was a member of Walton Hall Golf Club and was captain 2001 to 2002.
Mr Barron leaves his wife and a daughter.
A service was held on August 24 at Walton Lea, followed by cremation.
The Rev Jacqueline Taylor officiated.
Arrangements were made by Knox & Son.
