TERESA Armitage, wife of the late Mr John Stanley Armitage, died on November 22 aged 86.
Mrs Armitage, of Ryfields Retirement Village, lived most of her life in Warrington apart from several retirement years in Llansanfried, North Wales.
She was employed as a retail assistant in shoe shops in Warrington and then later became a supervisor at Woolworths until she retired through family commitments.
She enjoyed dancing, reading, knitting, crosswords, holidays with friends and family and in later years socialising at Ryfields. She loved the company of all her family.
Mrs Armitage leaves three children, seven grandchildren, eight greatgrandchildren, three brothers and three sisters.
She was predeceased by a brother and a sister.
A celebration of her life was held on December 1 at Walton Lea, followed by cremation. Mr Steve Grant officiated.
Arrangements were made by Knox & Son.
