Motorcyclist in critical condition following crash
A MOTORCYCLIST is in a critical condition in hospital after a crash near the Fiddlers Ferry power station last night.
Emergency services were called at 7.51pm to the incident on the A562 Dan's Road in Widnes but confirmed no other vehicles were involved.
The rider of the motorbike, a 30-year-old local man, was taken by ambulance to Aintree Hospital to be treated for his injuries.
Anyone who witnessed the incident should call Cheshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 877 of 5 August 2014.
