THE Warrington member of UK Youth Parliament says she was left feeling inspired and motivated after representing the town at the Youth Parliament Annual sitting.

Beamont Collegiate Academy pupil Rose Warburton attended the event at Lancaster University along with more than 250 members of Youth Parliament to have her say on ways to improve the lives of young people across the country.

She said: “It is an experience I will never forget and I have met new friends from all over the country.

“Thanks to the motivational speeches of RT Hon John Bercow MP, Kamal Hyman and so many incredible others, I’m feeling inspired, determined and excited to continue my work in Warrington and try to help as many young people as possible.”

Clr Jean Carter, executive board member for children and young people’s services, added: “It’s great to see Rose getting stuck into her new role and she is doing us proud representing Warrington on the national stage.”
