ROLL up, roll up for a day filled with high jinks in Latchford on Saturday.

The Latchford West Community Fun Day has a circus theme this year with entertainment whatever the weather with a big top and circus performers from Circus Sensible.

Youngsters can even have a go at circus skills on the day which takes place from 1pm at Causeway Park, off Gainsborough Road.

There will be musical entertainment from Vocal Infinity and Drums Recycled, stalls and refreshments, and a variety of activities for the children.

Clr Maureen McLaughlin (LAB - Latchford West), chairman of the Latchford West Community Planning Group, said: “We’ve worked hard to put on a fun day which everyone can enjoy – young and old alike. There will be lots of free, hands-on activities and we think people will really enjoy the circus performers, complete with a big top.”

Disabled parking is available at the Sea Cadets building on River Road and there is also a nearby car park at St James Court at the top of Wilderspool Causeway.
