FIRE crews in breathing kit tackled a cooking fire in Hulme.
Two fire engines from Warrington and Penketh stations rushed to Toll Bar Road at 12.20am on Friday, March 29.
Crews entered the smoke-filled home wearing breathing kit and removed a pan from the kitchen.
The smoke was then cleared with a high-pressure fan.
A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue service said: “Firefighters entered a heavily smoked-logged property wearing breathing apparatus.
“It is believed to have been caused by cooking as a pan was removed outside. A high-pressure fan was used to clear the smoke.”
