THE council may have frozen the prices on green bins, but our council tax will still be going up the best part of five per cent.
This is despite the fact we did not have any bin collections for more than two months last year.
Also, despite the fact our roads are full of potholes.
Again, despite a debt of almost £2billion, although the council tells us it gets money from that to clear the books.
I would love to have the same accounting for my finances.
Sadly, my wages won’t go up, the bank won’t let me have multiple mortgages and my bins still don’t get collected, while my car runs into potholes.
