A VEHICLE was seized by police due to the way it was being driven over the weekend.
Cheshire Police officers on patrol in Great Sankey on Saturday night received reports of a motorist driving in an anti-social manner.
The vehicle was seized after officers stopped the driver, who had already been warned in the past year about his manner of driving.
The force’s Whittle Hall Police team said: “PC Jennings has seized a vehicle tonight under section 59 of the Police Reform Act.
“The driver was witnessed driving without due care and attention and in a manner likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress.
“The driver had already received a warning for anti-social driving in the Manchester area within the last 12 months.
“This seizure was following reports of cars being driven in an anti-social manner in the Great Sankey area.”
